This 1 bedroom apartment is located on the second floor and it is served by four lifts. It is equipped to accommodate up to 4 adults plus a cot. Air conditioning units are installed in both the bedroom and the living room.
The are two swimming pools (adult & children), sun loungers and parasols around the pool, landscaped gardens and a tennis court.
Access to the grounds is limited because it is a gated community. The absence of an on-site bar and shop adds to the peaceful & 'non-commercial' environment.
The nearest restaurant/bar is only 20 meters from the entrance gates.
There are three shops and two other restaurants/bars located on the road leading to the apartment. There is a wide choice of shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk.
There really is no need to rent a car, but if you do, there is ample free on-site car parking available in the underground and surface car parks.

Location:
A modern and quite complex really close to the hustle & bustle of Albufeira.
It is only a two or three minute walk to the main beach in Albufeira. This part of the beach is named Praia do Forte Sao Joao. Other sections are named Fishermen's Beach and Praia do Peneco.
Other beaches nearby include ‘Praia dos Aveiros’ (a small secluded beach) and ‘Praia Da Oura’ which offers an array of water sports.
Walking for about ten minutes along the beach brings you directly to the ‘Old Town’ of Albufeira.

Cleaning, towels & linen:
The apartment is cleaned each week. Hand, bath and beach towels are provided, as are tea-cloths. Bed linen is changed once weekly (or more often for an additional charge). Please note that cot sheets and face cloths are not supplied.

Extra Information:
Guests are greeted upon arrival at the complex and provided with 2 sets of keys. No hard sell on outings. Airport transfer for 4 persons can be arranged upon request (approx €35 each way per group, paid to driver). Electricity is 220V / 50Hz (similar to UK and Ireland but remember to bring some 2 pin adapter plugs). There is a payphone located at the front gate.
Accessibility:
The apartment is located on the second floor and is accessible by 4 lifts as well as by stairs. The local beach has 20 steps. This is a gated complex and access to the grounds is limited to key-holders.
A taxi-rank and a stop for the local bus service are located nearby. Tour buses which serve many of the local attractions stop beside the front gate. There is a local shop that sells outings.
Taxi fares to most places of interest in the Old Town average about 6 euro.
Activities in the area:
The range of activities in or near Albufeira is fantastic. This list is only an indication of what is on offer; water parks (3), horse riding, jeep safari, golf, karting, quad bikes, diving, jet-ski, banana-boat, parasailing, paintball, tennis, bowls and frequent open-air markets. And that just for day time!
Coast/Beach:
The complex shares the seafront with two other hotels in the immediate vicinity. The quality and safety of the beaches has been rewarded with a high number of blue flags. Check out the ‘interactive beach guide’ on ‘www.albufeira.com’ for pictures on all the beaches mentioned above.
Golf:
There are more than 30 golf courses on the Algarve. Since Albufeira is right in the center of the Algarve, it is the perfect place to stay. Local courses include Pine Cliffs, Salgados and Balaia. Vilamoura offers some of the best courses in the world (Millennium, Victoria, Old Course, Laguna, Pinhal, etc.) and these golf courses can be reached in about 20 minutes by car.

Notes on prices.
A minimum deposit of £220 is required to secure a booking.
A security deposit of £175 in cash is collected on arrival. This security deposit is returned in cash when guests are leaving providing there is no damage or lost facilities/equipment.
Changeover day:
Flexible. Note that the apartment should be vacated by 10am on departure day to facilitate cleaning. Late departures may be facilitated subject to availability and by prior agreement.
